The other day I was walking down the street to check the mail, and I saw a sight that embodies almost everything I don't like about where I live. There is a white supremacist family who lives down the street - they fly Nazi flags, SS flags, confederate flags, you name it. Two punk kids from the neighborhood were standing in this fellow's driveway watching him spray paint his old pickup truck in a camo pattern, making admiring comments on his handiwork with a rattle can. And I realized this scene summed up the narrow-minded, white trash, bigoted, redneck attitudes that prevail among so many people here. Not everyone is that way, mind you, but enough to wear me down sometimes.

The only thing I dislike more are the 8 month-long, grey-ass, dreary, snowy winters.

Anyway, I wish I had a picture, but I don't want my tires slashed or garage burned down, so I just kept walking... These words will have to suffice.

"We gotta get out of this place
